I have driven by this place a thousand times. The green rolling hills seemed to be so out of place in this southern Georgia heat. I always remember thinking the house that set back off the road nestled at the edge of the wood line reminded me of castle. When Rachel told me that she wanted her engagement portraits taken there I was beyond thrilled! At last I got a free pass behind the gate to see what kind of treasures lie at the foot of the castle doors! YAY- is all I could think!
Rachel and Caleb are getting married in spring so the timing they chose for their engagement portraits was paramount. If we waited to long the trees would be bare and the ground dead. Luckily, we were able to get together before winter hit. The grass was still green, the trees are turning and the landscape was full of blasting color! And OH the heat these two brought with them!!!

Even while I was processing these images I was just so excited about these portraits and even more excited to see how fantastic the colors were.

I simply cannot wait to shoot their wedding. The venue they have chosen is AHHMAZZING!! Coupled with their incredible taste, I know it’s going to be a night to remember! You can view the rest of their images here.
Thank you Caleb & Rachel for sharing your special day with me and being so fabulous! The love you share with each other is touching and can be seen by the farthest stranger. I look forward to your wedding next year!
Cheers!
